After an uneasy alliance is formed between the Soul Reapers and Visoreds, the battle against the Espadas resumes. Meanwhile, the combined efforts of Hachigen and Soi Fon have apparently defeated Barragan, who was displaced by Aizen as ruler of Hueco Mundo, until they discover him forcing open the Hachigen's Shiju Saimon barrier. Also, Ichigo is troubled that he can't utilize his Hollowfication to its full effect. He will need all the power he can summon, as the ultimate battle with Aizen is approaching.
