Returning to the world inside the mysterious book The Universe of the Four Gods, Miaka learns that her best friend Yui has joined the enemy, threatening her adopted kingdom. Miaka must now overcome Yui's betrayal and, as head of the Suzuka Seven, which includes her true love Tamahone, Miaka fights to protect her friends and the kingdom, unaware of the tragic events she will be facing as she also hopes to find a way to save Yui.
