Ace BTOOOM player Ryuta Sakamoto finds himself stranded on a mysterious island equipped with a day's worth of provisions, a bag of bombs, a strange crystal embedded in his left hand, and a big gap in his memory. But after someone tries to kill him, he realizes that they are attempting to re-create the ultra-violent BTOOOM game in real life, with many unwilling players, each armed with one of the various types of explosives called BIM. The only way off this island is killing seven other people and taking their crystals before they kill you.
