Victor Payan is an award-winning artist and arts consultant who organizes public events which promote tolerance, understanding and community empowerment. He is currently Creative Director for the Film Fiesta multicultural film festival and Senior Writer for the national news and satire site pocho.com, and the news satire show Najera in America.

Mr. Payan is a recipient of the 2010 Idea Fund grant, a Texas initiative funded by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts; is listed in the San Antonio CAAP Artist Roster; and was selected as the August 2009 City of San Antonio Artist of the Month. He is also winner of the 2005 NALIP Latino Media Market and recipient of numerous writing awards.
